Loretta Sparks, MA, MFT, is the Founder and Director of the Center for Energy Psychotherapy and TAAP Training Institute. She is a licensed psychotherapist and practitioner of Emotional Freedom Techniques. As an author, educator and trainer, she has trained mental health professionals and as well as the public, nationally and internationally, in EFT for more than a decade.

Even though, Ms. Sparks has trained extensively with the developers of a number of energy psychotherapies, she has chosen to focus her work on EFT not only because of its effectiveness, but also because of the ease with which it can be accessed and be learned.

In addition to her private practice, Ms. Sparks has worked for a number of years in the Addiction Medicine Department of a large HMO. Where she developed her interest in the application of EFT to addiction and its root causes. She is a Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS), an Advanced Certified Relapse Prevention Specialist (Cenaps), a member of the American Academy of Psychotherapists and a charter member of the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology.
